Professor Bing Yan got his Ph.D. from Columbia University, New York, in 1990 and carried out postdoctoral research at University of Cambridge, U.K. and University of Texas Medical School in Houston from 1990 to 1993. From 1993 to 2005, he worked at Biomedical Research Institute of Novartis, Discovery Partners International, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. From 2005 until present, he has been a Changjiang Scholar Professor at Shandong University and Guangzhou University. He now serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief for Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety and Associate Editor for NanoImpact. He has published 11 books and over 330 peer-reviewed papers.
